To go along with that cool is the fact that this is the only team I’m aware of in the state of Indiana that graduates exactly ZERO members from their 2020 campaign. Probably the coolest, and most unique, of all of the mascots in Indiana comes from way up north, the Andrean Fighting 59ers. And a title trophy wouldn’t be a bad addition either. 2500+ career assists is an incredible feat for any setter at any level. Miss Kmetz is a product of Michio Chicago, and will be a solid pickup for someone next fall. She’s been setting there since forever ago, and currently averages ten assists per set in a steady and well-balanced offense. No one player can do this alone, but if I were to pick one Andrean couldn’t do without, it would be Maddie Kmetz (’22, 5-9 S). There are so many people on this roster that deserve credit for the Fighting 59ers successes this fall. Each of these teams needs a leader if they want to go far in the state tournament, so we list each roster’s general. The five teams listed here all have tough matches either in the end of this week or in their draw next week. We’re finishing our regular season this week in Indiana, and our last day of play before the post season is this Saturday. PREP DIG - INDIANA 2A PREVIEW: #4 ANDREAN
